Auto Mechanic RDU Airport Location

We are a growing auto logistics and service company seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to support our client at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport location. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where youll play a vital role in vehicle maintenance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Maintenance & Repair: Perform a range of maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire repair/replacement, brake work, wiper replacement, coolant issues, and addressing check engine light concerns.

Record Keeping: Accurately document vital information for each job and submit detailed daily reports to the accounting and management teams.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients about potential issues and make recommendations for repairs or services to enhance vehicle performance and safety. This will help increase work volume and company revenue.

Tool Management: Use personal basic tools, including sockets, wrenches, power drills, and toolboxes, to complete jobs effectively. The company will provide specialty tools, such as scanners or unique equipment, as required.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and client guidelines.

Weekend Availability: Participate in a 7-day operation schedule, including weekend shifts as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as an auto mechanic or relevant technical role.

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive issues.

Strong communication skills, especially when explaining potential problems or recommending services to clients.

Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment.

Basic toolset (sockets, wrenches, toolboxes, power drills, etc.).

Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in automotive repair is a plus.
