Chaz Limited Collision Express is looking for qualified collision repair specialists to join us for an adventure in Alaska! We are looking for hard working and dedicated technicians with an eye for detail, knowledge and expertise to get cars safely back on the road for our customers. We have always believed that autobody technicians were the most important part of a collision repair facility and pride ourselves on the relationships we have continued over many years. Candidates must have a valid driver license with a clean driving record. We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals with 5+ years of experience in a high volume, DRP driven shop. I-Car, ASE, and Manufacturer certifications are a preferred and a sign on bonus for techs with certifications will be considered. Some relocation assistance to Alaska may be available. The ideal candidate must be able to: - Repair all metal types - Repair and replace frames - Repair plastic and composite materials - Weld steel, plastic, and aluminum - Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste materials Responsibilities include: - Repairing damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and company standards - Participating in development of repair plan for each repair allocated to you - Assessing additional damage on vehicles after disassembly and communicating with the file handler for necessary supplements - Communicating statuses of repair with the Production Manager frequently - Communicating with the parts departments on ETA updates and additional part orders - Recording and storing documentation of all repairs performed and all materials used - Maintain a clean and orderly work area, free from safety hazards, clutter, and mess - Participate in all safety meetings, training requirements, and team meetings I-Car certifications and experience utilizing Car-O-Liner equipment is desired, but not required.
