Established auto sales lot seeking a "Heavy Detailer". Job description includes cleaning up vehicles to prepare for sale on both the retail and wholesale level. This sometimes includes removing seats and carpet for cleaning to the utmost level. This is not simply washing, waxing, and wiping down vehicles, this is truly deep cleaning vehicles that may be extremely dirty. We need them to be as clean as possible even when we send them to auction.
Willing to train the right individual, some mechanical experience will be needed. A love for cars is a major plus! Additional automotive skills/experience also a plus, Ideal Candidate would be able to do some mechanical work as well although not a 100% requirement. Pay will commensurate with knowledge and ability.
Work week is 40 hours, although we would consider less hours per week in some cases. Beginning time of day, ending time of day, and lunch schedule can be very flexible as well. Great opportunity for someone that is independent and does not like or need to be "Micromanaged". Simply put, if you do your job well, we will not be watching over you all day!
Ideal candidate would not be opposed to helping move vehicles around the compound, Occassionally help keep up the grounds, Help mechanics hold things, etc when needed. We are a honest, family owned business with family values that "do the right thing", you please be the same.
